Antefix in the form of a Gorgon head reassembled from two fragments. It was found southwest of the Parthenon in 1835.

Medusa's face is dominated by her big eyes, the wrinkled forehead and the tusks and tongue protruding from her wide mouth. Her apotropaic features were emphasised with colour as traces of black and red paint show. She wears circular earrings on her ears and has snakes around the neck.
